Overview
Each release of ThreatConnect® includes a version number and an associated commit and build. This information, which may be viewed on the Info tab of the System Settings screen, is designed to provide System Administrators with better insight into the specific version and build of ThreatConnect running on their instance.

Version Numbering Scheme
Figure 1 illustrates the version numbering scheme used for each ThreatConnect release.
- Version Number: The three-digit version number of the ThreatConnect release (7.1.2 in this example). The version number consists of the following parts:
- Major: The major version of the ThreatConnect release (7 in this example).
- Minor: The minor version of the ThreatConnect release (1 in this example).
- Patch: The patch version of the ThreatConnect release (2 in this example).
- Build: The six-character build of the ThreatConnect release (M0609P in this example). The build consists of the following parts:
- M: The letter M in the build stands for “Maintenance Build.”
- Month: The two-digit month of the release date for the build (06 in this example).
- Day: The two-digit day of the release date for the build (09 in this example).
- Modifier: A letter indicating the type of fix addressed in the ThreatConnect release (P in this example). Available modifiers include S (deployed to a single customer only), P (a top-priority fix to address a customer outage), and R (required for all customers).
Viewing Your ThreatConnect Version, Commit, and Build
System Administrators can follow these steps to view the version and build of ThreatConnect running on their instance and the associated commit.
- Log into ThreatConnect with a System Administrator account.
- On the top navigation bar, hover over Settingsand select System Settings. The System Settings screen will be displayed with the Settings tab selected.
- Click the Info tab. The Info screen will be displayed with the Information subtab selected (Figure 2).
- Version: The three-digit version of ThreatConnect running on your instance (7.3.2 in this example).
- Commit: The eight-character commit associated with the ThreatConnect version running on your instance (b4b3335d in this example).
- Build: The six-character build of the ThreatConnect version running on your instance (M1121R in this example).
