# Versions

Versioning in Playbooks allows you to maintain and manage [versions](/v1/docs/playbook-versions) of your Playbooks and Components. To view saved versions and version history, click the ![Icon Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/dfc206c8-1c9f-4725-b74d-a66f83432320/Images/Documentation/versions-image-1tieggq5.png)**Versions** button on the side navigation bar. The **Versions** pane will be displayed (Figure 1). Click on a version in the table to view that version of the Playbook in a new tab.
