# Validations Tab

The **Validations**tab provides validations as changes are made to the project. Validations provide early warnings of build or runtime errors before they happen. Validations must be fixed prior to building or debugging a project.

When there are no validations errors, a message stating “No validations errors.” will be displayed in the **Validations**tab. When there are validation errors, they will be displayed in the **Validations**tab with a status, time, and message (Figure 1).
