Polarity Browser Extension

Our Polarity Chrome Extension is live!  To install and use just follow the steps below.

Installing 

To install the Chrome extension: 

1. Navigate to:  https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/polarity/mkeooojfopakiocdfjigabogdgkicobe 

2. Click "Add to Chrome". 

3. Accept the pop-up warning.

4. Navigate to the icon in the top right of your browser and select it.

5. Add in the URL for your Polarity instance.

   • If using Polarity's Community Edition, use "https://ce.polarity.io". 

6. Start Searching! 

How it works  

The Polarity Chrome Extension enables analysts to quickly pivot from anywhere in their browser to Polarity Web Search. 

1. Simply highlight any information you want to look up. 

2. Right click to access the context menu. 

3. Select "Search in Polarity".

4. This will open a browser tab and run the search using Polarity's Web Search! 

   • If you already have Polarity open, it will navigate you to the open browser tab.
