# Playbook Components Overview

## Overview

Playbook Components are Apps that consist of modules of [Playbook elements](/v1/docs/parts-of-a-playbook) (Apps and Operators, with a single initial Trigger) that can be called from a [Playbook](/v1/docs/playbooks) in ThreatConnect®. They make Playbook design more convenient when a group of elements is used repeatedly by allowing the elements to be packaged together and called as a single element.

| Prerequisites | Playbooks enabled by a System Administrator; if a Component is to be used, a[Playbook](https://knowledge.threatconnect.com/docs/playbooks) must call it |
