Polarity Server supports three different methods of authentication.
Local Authentication
Local authentication is the default, out of the box authentication mechanism.
Users authenticate to Polarity using a local Polarity username and password. New Users and Groups can be added by Polarity Administrators via the "Teams" page. If SMTP is configured, an account creation email is sent to the new user with their auto-generated temporary password.
SAML
Polarity supports SAML based authentication. For more information on configuring SAML including guides for various identity providers please see the SAML guides below:
LDAP/Active Directory
Polarity supports LDAP-/Active Directory-based authentication.
