# App Builder Settings

To access the **Settings** menu for the [**App Builder** screen](/v1/docs/the-app-builder-screen), click **Settings** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/dfc206c8-1c9f-4725-b74d-a66f83432320/Images/Documentation/settings-image-i5rvjep1.png) at the upper-right corner of the screen, to the right of the **ACTIONS** button. The **Settings** menu includes the following options: **Vim Mode**, **Disable Proxy**, and **Reset Layout**.

## Vim Mode

Projects may be edited on the **App Builder** screen in Vim mode, which uses Vim-emulated keybindings. To switch to Vim mode, toggle the **Vim Mode** slider on.

## Disable Proxy

To prevent Apps from using the system proxy, toggle the **Disable Proxy** slider on. Enabling this setting allows you to use your own Python repository when building Apps.

## Reset Layout

If you customized the layout of the **App Builder** screen, selecting **Reset Layout** will restore the screen to its [default layout](/v1/docs/the-app-builder-screen#layout).
