API Keys

With the latest 5.5 server and web release we have added the ability for admins to create API keys to be used to query the Polarity API. Admins can create any number of keys necessary. The keys will act like users where they can be granted access to integrations and channels so you can tailor the keys to only what is necessary.

API Keys will expire after 30 days of inactivity

Creating a API Key  

To create a key navigate to the API Keys page under Server Configuration and then select “Create New API Key”.

Please select integrations and/or channels that the key should have access to. From there select an expiration date (required) and provide a name for the key (required).

Once created then a pop up will occur where you will need to copy the token to your clipboard.

Please be sure to copy the key as it is the only chance you will have access to the API Key.

Adding API Key Permissions

Once the key is created new permissions can be added to the API Key, either by adding permissions in the Permissions of an integration or channel or by navigating to the key itself adding permissions there.
