# API Documentation

The ThreatConnect® API allows users to access ThreatConnect data programmatically through HTTP queries and to obtain structured results via JavaScript® Object Notation (JSON). This allows for integration with other products to enhance the analytical process and to employ the data as the user sees fit.

For documentation on the ThreatConnect v3 API, visit [threatconnect.readme.io/reference](http://threatconnect.readme.io/reference) or [https://docs.threatconnect.com/en/latest/rest_api/rest_api.html#v3-api](https://docs.threatconnect.com/en/latest/rest_api/rest_api.html#v3-api).

For documentation on the ThreatConnect v2 API, visit [docs.threatconnect.com/en/latest/rest_api/rest_api.html#v2-api](http://docs.threatconnect.com/en/latest/rest_api/rest_api.html#v2-api).
